We are all getting excited about Christmas. The Putty Hall Christmas party is planned for next Saturday the 5th December starting at 5.30 pm. With only one week to go, there is plenty to do to get ready, so we need your valuable help.

We are inviting all families to the party but we need your help to cater for the children and the grown-ups as well.

If you are attending, we ask that all the adults bring a plate of food to share whether it be nibblies, finger food, or a salad to compliment the BBQ meats of sausages and chicken, which the PCA committee is supplying.  And for the sweet toothed, a dessert for the adults.

For instance, we have devilled (stuffed) eggs, devon & potato rolls, chicken Caesar salad, already promised but any Christmas fare food would be really nice to have.

One Mum has already agreed to provide icecreams for the children, another is making individual trifle cups for the adults.

Sarah Stokes, Cate Lavender & Jody Drayton are co-ordinating the party food and games so best to get in touch with any of them to find out what is good to bring.

Aleda Graham is once again, gathering the children together to present a nativity scene and sing Christmas carols loud enough for Santa to hear and arrive to give out presents.

Parents are asked to provide a present for each of their children to the value of $10. Please write your child’s name on the outside to assist Santa.

The Christmas Raffle. Traditionally we have always had a Christmas raffle and we will again this year. The raffles have always been made up by generous donations from community members. We are looking for all types of goodies to make winning it worthwhile.  Can you supply some festive food or have you got something unused, that you don’t really want or need that you could re-gift.  Maybe a child’s toy or game you have had in the cupboard just waiting for someone to give it to.

Send an email to Margaret Ferguson in the first instance, with your contact details, who will forward your offer onto one of co-ordinators who will then get in touch.

Thank you for your help with making the party a fabulous event but remember, we have only one week to get this all done.

Please bring a $10 - $15 gift for your children.
