Due to reduced risk, the local bush fire danger period for the Putty area has been modified by the RFS to be 1 October 2024 to 31 March 2025. During this period, permits issued pursuant to Section 87 of the Act will be required for the lighting of fire for the purposes of land clearance or fire breaks. See here for official notification.
