The Putty Community Association (PCA) organises social activities in the area to raise funds for worthwhile causes and to maintain and improve the Putty Hall, situated in the centre of the large geographical area called the Putty Valley.
The hall is a meeting place for social events, information seminars and in cases of emergency such as bushfires it serves as an evacuation point. See also Putty Hall History.
