The NSW Rural Fire Service advises that the Bush Fire Danger Period has begun for 2024/2025 season.
The BFDP runs from 1 October 2024 to 31 March 2025. If you are planning to light
any fire in the open during this time, you will need a Fire Permit. Permit Officers will
explain the conditions of the permit when issuing it to you.
