Putty Christmas Party

Putty Christmas Party 2024

Putty’s annual Christmas Party was held at Putty Hall on Saturday 14 December. Again it was a fun-filled event with all the traditional happenings.

Young Putty people were joined by more from the St. Shenouda Monastery, and although reluctantly dressed for the roles they played, performed their parts well in the Nativity play.

Loud and enthusiastic carol singing followed while the little ones waited for Santa to arrive. Singers were accompanied with music by Martha on mandola and Michael on guitar. Everyone joined in.

Next came the serious feasting with a delicious variety of foods brought along by the party goers, including all types of salads and chicken pieces. Organised by Kimmy Stokes, traditional meats of pork and ham were also on the menu.

The night was warm and the Party Hall bar was a popular corner.

Santa arrived in a decorated UTV (Utility Terrain Vehicle) and handed out gifts to the very excited children.
